If we were you, this is what we would be wanting from our dry cleaners:
- It's not just about the Dry Cleaning. I want lovely service and I want an easier life and I want environmentally aware practices.
- Don't charge premium rates for hand finishing my garments. It's just not that hard to do!
- I want to know when there is a problem and what will be done to fix it.
- If you mess something up, just tell me.
- I want to suggest improvements and for you to take it seriously. Your service is useful I want you to hear what I have to say about improvements.
- Never ever put my phone call to you in a queue and then dare to tell me that I'm important.
- I want you to act in a transparent and ethical manner and I don't want you to be holier than thou about it.
- Try to make this fun. (But don't try too hard.)
- I don't want to do business with muppets.
- I want to order things to my schedule not yours. I don't care if it's Eurovision Song Contest or the World Cup Final or that you have just had a big order in just deal with it.
- If you are good at what you do I'll be loyal to you and I will probably tell my friends about you as well.
- Don't automate me! I'm a human, I care about my clothes. Just deal with me. If I email you- respond properly. If I call with a question answer it. It's not that hard!
- If you must email me marketing stuff at least make it relevant and interesting to me.
- I want to know what's next with you lot? I quite like what you are up to, keep me informed (but keep it brief).
